Salisbury - Stonehenge
Our day together begins by meeting you at 9.00 am at your hotel lobby.
We will make our way to Salisbury where we’ll visit Salisbury Cathedral, unique amongst medieval English cathedrals. The building is a testimony to the faith and practical skills of those who erected it. You will be able to admire the beauty and scale of the cathedral interior and to study the original Magna Carta in the Cathedral’s Chapter House.
Our journey continues as we head to Stonehenge, one of the most famous prehistoric sites in the world, located in the English county of Wiltshire, north of Salisbury. Stonehenge is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones which constitute the earliest phase of the monument, dated to about 3100 BC. The iconic stone monument was erected around 2500 BC. The site and its surroundings are part of the World Heritage Site.
Our journey ends in London at approximately 18.00 pm.
